Chanda Daniels began her career in 1999 with a passion for people and memorable moments. As the owner and creative director of Chanda Daniels Planning + Design and the founder of A Monique Affair, she has become an industry leader known for her innovative approach and meticulous organization. And has worked with some of the industry's most prestigious venues and creatives to craft meaningful celebrations with unparalleled style and elegance​​​​​​​.

As a renowned trendsetter and educator in the wedding and event industry, Chanda has led seasoned professionals to a deeper understanding of the beauty, inclusivity, and diversity of the LGBTQ+ wedding market. 

Chanda was named a Top Wedding Planner by Harper's Bazaar, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Brides. She was named one of The Most Influential People in the Events Industry in the US for 2024. And her weddings have been featured in several national publications, including Martha Stewart Weddings, Munaluchi Bride, The Knot, and Today's Bride.

Chanda is based in Oakland, California where she lives with her wife, Stephanie, and enjoys spending time with her daughter, Chloe and granddaughter Marleigh.
